GDS SageLink Module


Before you download and use the new GDS SageLink Module, please ensure you are running the latest version of GDS. You can check this by going to the Help menu in GDS and selecting Check for Program Updates and then follow the prompts if you need to update your system.

To download the GDS SageLink Module, please use the link at the bottom of this article. Once the program is downloaded, please run the program to install the SageLink files into your C:\GDS folder.

Before you can use GDS SageLink, you will need to activate it on your system. You can do this by going into GDS System Settings, Other Settings Tab, and then clicking the Activate Modules/Databases button. There is a SageLink section on the Module Activation screen, and you should click the 30 Day Trial button, and then the Green button to register the files recently installed so that GDS can use them.

Before SageLink can communicate with your Sage system, you will also need to ensure that the 3rd Party Integration option is enabled in Sage. This option is on the Tools menu in Sage. You will need to call Sage for these free activation codes if you have not entered them before.

SageLink must be run from within GDS. To open SageLink from within GDS, just choose the Post Transactions to Sage Accounts menu option as normal (from the GDS menu). When SageLink is activated, GDS will run the new SageLink module instead of displaying the Accounts Export screen. If SageLink is deactivated, then the Accounts Export screen will show again.

We strongly recommend you backup your Sage data before using the link for the first time.
